What is
Outplacement?
Outplacement is a service that helps an
individual “get his/her head on straight”, assess his/her skills and
transferable skills, decide “what they really want to do”, learn the
proper procedures for making that transition and get on with their life in
the quickest time possible. Outplacement
usually involves a company’s contracting us prior to a layoff or job
loss to their employees to have Crutchfield Associates, Inc., assist the
individuals in their transition.
Outplacement, though unknown to most, is
a service designed to help you “get to know yourself” – reaching
deep within, finding out what you would love to do, and taking the steps
necessary to make it happen! It
is important to come to grips with what has happened and understand why
you are in this situation. We
all learn through life experiences and we can learn through this
experience, as well. There
may be changes that are needed in the way we conduct our business or in
the way we interact with others.
This can be an exciting time! Most Americans are not overly enamored with what they do, and
believing that things happen for a reason, this may be the perfect
opportunity for you to: open your own business, utilize your transferable
